Alright, let me start off with an I'm sorry.
I can't remember who it was, but its been a few months, and I thought I'd try to make an appeal.
It was about 5am or so at the time (If anyone knows the exact time, It was early that's all I can remember)
So, I started making a small little office on the street sidewalk, like 100 or so, feet away from the house, (guessing) and then the guy comes over and the owner of the house didn't like that, After I spent like 20 minutes on the little office, that was hard to make, :( he told me essentially to get up and move some place else after I spent the time on it and again, its not like I have access to an advanced dupe to move it fast. Like he was going to use the space for something (Which I was later informed he didn't) And he kinda got a little angry after I refused to move, so I kinda got a little angry, and cursed at him, which again, I am sorry that i had done that ( short temper, awake all night and it was early in the morning). I was already on the bad side of some of the players or staff or whoever because A. I had no sound at the time B. not knowing they requested me to leave they're property. In conclusion, I am sorry, and hope that you will allow me on the server once again

Okay, you were banned by [member=529]Benjamin[/member] it will be his decision on if he wants to give you a second chance.
 
First, The person shouldn't have told you get up and move because you weren't on their property. Second, If you had your sound muted how (idk if they typed to you or not) why would you automatically respond swearing at them not knowing what they said. I'll talk with Ben, If the situation was that he told you to move away from his house (which he cannot do) I will gladly unban you. But if it was a different situation, You'll be held with a longer ban. Depending on the swearing at him part - If we do decide to unban you, It might not be an instant unban.
 
Okay, I didn't instantly result in swearing, I don't know if you still have the logs from that day, but I did say No, before I resulted in swearing he also, had started using caps. But 100% I can see if you don't want me back on the server again.
Hopefully Ben can shed a bit more light on this situation

Well seeing the logs again might make this easy to choose. Honestly if I banned you its for a reason. Swearing at people is a serious offence on our servers.
 
I have reviewed the logs.


I assume Ronnie was sitting there building as there were logs of him using tools and what not that involve building. The conversation starts when (I assume) both of the persons meet.

Okay, So there is alot to explain here. I've done an intensive analysis of what I think happen, And I'm 90% sure this IS what happened.

So, Mark 'A.' Is where ChilliCakes sees Ronnie and tells him to get off of his property. I noticed that approximately 1 second before that, ChilliCakes spawns a Textscreen ([07:12:28] ChilliCakes<STEAM_0:0:102164143> used the tool textscreen on maps/rp_evocity_v4b1.bsp) When I saw this, I automatically knew what was going on. One of those "If you don't have a textscreen on that house and you have stuff in it, I'm claiming it and it's mine." I recently made a rule to go against that rule (You must have a text screen on your house to claim it.) The new rule was: [14. If someone has Props/Vehicles in a house with no Textscreen on it, You MUST ask them first if it's their house before you can put on a Textscreen and claim it.] Now as you see ChilliCakes did not ask Ronnie if he wanted to own that house or not. So technically so far, ChilliCakes has broken rule #14.

Mark 'B.' ChilliCakes tells Ronnie to look at the Textscreen that he had just placed to make Ronnie think that Chilli owned the house already. I could tell Ronnie knew he was in that house first. I saw in the logs earlier that Ronnie was spawning building props as if he were building inside the house (Not sure why he said in his appeal he was on a sidewalk...) This makes me think that Ronnie WAS in that house before ChilliCakes was.

Mark 'C.' Again, This is just a proof point that Ronnie was most likely not on a sidewalk and was at a house building inside, Or somewhere outside of it. (The backyard)

Mark 'D.' I guess ChilliCakes started annoying Ronnie about the whole ordeal and he wouldn't leave ronnie alone. Maybe Chilli kept on walking around him, Or noclipping inside of Ronnie or his stuff. So Ronnies response was to tell him to 'Fuck off.'

Mark 'E.' This is when Ronnie refused to get off of ChilliCakes supposed 'Land.' (This is will make sense later on, On why i marked it.)

This is my argument and my opinion on how I see what happened, I'm ruling in the favor of Ronnie being unbanned as he (What i believe) was the victim in this situation.




IF My Opinion Is Wrong?

If i'm completely wrong about this situation, There is no other I see it happening other than, ChilliCakes 'just' owned the house, THEN Ronnie started building in it. Therefore Ronnie was the one breaking the rules and causing the argument. If it did not happen that way either, Then we DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH EVIDENCE to take this investigation any further. And cannot rule in anyones' favor. Which would result in... A conflict resolution? Both players will be banned, Or both will be unbanned. Either way, This was a very, very, very minor issue that could've been solved in the server if one of the players were 'Respectful.'


P.S. I personally did not think a simple 'Fuck off' to someone should have been a permanent ban when someone could've said a more disrespectful thing and only gets banned for like, a week. But i'm not going to judge on how someone bans a person.

I was on the server that night, and Ronnie is a good friend of mine, I believe I sent him a steam message about his little office and how funny I thought it was. I can see why you would be confused about Ronnie claiming him building on the sidewalk but I've made an image that I hope can clear it up. It was just a little boxed in area with a lot of paper boxes as walls, and a little desk with a computer.

Thank you for submitting this. When I get home today I will definitely unban Ronnie. From what I see he was not in the houses fences in area. For the swearing part, I'm sure he has served that ban already as of how long he's been banned so far. ~From Mobile
