Closing of Servers #2 & #4

Lately I have been far too busy with life to be able to manage all 5 servers, and it has been discussed for a few months about closing down the Fly & Drive. The updates are not being addressed to fix issues that are crashing our servers. It has been a challenge finding staff to properly fill our positions and also a challenge keeping the servers running with faulty addons.

This is a definite change, and no discussion will be allowed on this thread. I know it may upset a lot of people, but things like this will happen.. especially with one person managing a huge community.

The servers are set to expire and I'm not sure at what point they will be shut down. In the future they may return but for now we are shutting them down. You'll have to find another WAC server, but the bugs and crashes will still be the same.

Anyone who throws a fit on the website will most likely be removed, the admins have made their decision.

Guys relax, this may or may not yet be permanent.. all of these goodbye posts are really not necessary. This has been planned for a few months now and I have mentioned it in prior postings and on the servers themselves.

WAC Aircraft when crashed into the water will crash the server immediately and hold it down until the system picks it back up which takes about 5 minutes. This is called a hard crash, it doesn't reboot automatically. This happens roughly 15-20 times daily on each Fly & Drive server. I don't want to invest money into a server that has problems that I cannot fix, and the developer refuses to work on.

Everyone saying that they're leaving now will have to accept the fact that when things get sorted and we decide to bring these back someday that you will not be re-ranked. You "quitting" because a server is going down does not show very much loyalty to the group and shows that you're in it for the power and not the community.

The servers may not come back as Fly & Drive, perhaps we'll have to talk things over and see what our options are.

If you want to take a break that's fine, but to storm around my website and say in front of hundreds of users is really immature and is a way of getting attention.
