New "PGRP" server

Hey guys i have found a beta server the is very similar to PGRP, it is called DogeRP IP:162.248.88.58:27015
the owner seams really nice and he has been working and dring to customize it so its no so much like pgrp.
This server has more stuff then the old PGRP, I have been talking to the owner and he says all TBB are welcome.

I have to disagree with this post because the game mode was not obtained legitimately and stolen from the original server. I spent some time with the owner of that specific server and really don't feel like he has a strong grasp on what it takes to successfully run a server, and asked him about plans in the future. Considering all of the missing pieces, broken things on the server I don't think it'll be as successful as everyone predicts.

The server state is "Beta", how can something stolen be in "Beta"? I am going to stick loyal to the original PGRP server, which is now ran by Sparks who wants to re-code the entire server merely because there are duplicates now and he wants to keep it original as it always has been.

I can't tell people where or what to play but I can speak my own opinion on how quickly people are to jump on any chance available and just decide to join something without stopping and thinking about the future. I don't want to include myself into the reputation of a player that used to play on PGRP and decided to join one that was copied from the original maliciously.

I cannot genuinely enjoy a server knowing it was robbed off of someone else for own personal benefit, so I choose not to go there.

I couldn't agree more Xer0n. Sorry Macker but I checked this server out today and it is a complete copy of the old PGRP which was coded completely from scratch by RedMist. I know it needs time to grow and improve, but seriously the only difference it has between PGRP is the name, its missing a bunch of features and has some broken NPC's as well. As Xer0n said, Sparks is completely recoding PGRP and will more than likely do a good job with it. I'm not sure whats going to happen with QIG yet but if anything I would go back to Spark's community before this one since they actually seem to know what they are doing. I mean what if something happens to the server and the Owner has no idea how to fix it because he didn't code it himself, it doesn't take a genius to steal someone else's work, but knowing how to run it is a different story. I just don't feel like this community has much potential and the fact that players on there openly admit to it being a direct copy of PGRP just doesn't go with me. I can't justify playing on a server that is just ripped off of someone else's hard work. From what I have also heard the Owner doesn't sound all that great to me either, offering money for inviting other players to join the server sounds a bit desperate to me.
