Most of you probably know my life has been abit odd for the past 10 months. Finished college, had to build up my life from the ground up, again. Finished driving school, got engaged, etc. (real life stuff, you know..)
This is the reason why there have been very few updates. Do not get me wrong tho, in that time not a day has passed where I have not worked on VCMod.
I've simply decided that the old VCMod1 structure (5 years old strucutre) is done for and I have started to recode the entire addon to fit the top shiny VC2 structure. I feel that my clients deserve it.
Wanted to thank everyone again for their support through all this. Without VCMod I would've had to emigrate from my home country to evem substain myself financially, leave my friends and family behind. (I have no idea if it as rough elsewhere as here with jobs straight out of college).
Even that I can even afford my rest is all thanks to you guys.
Anyway, through this time I have decided to redo VCMod from scratch. Its still a work in progress, but the new "Big" updaet that has been in development for months and months has just finished being beta tested. 12 new features are on the way including live code updates, brand new car dealer, redone light visuals and up to 900% serverside performance increase thanks to structured code that is now dynamically called depending on conditions.
The lowest points of VCMod were the "Car dealer" and "Third Person View" features. I have remade them completely.
The live code updates will also allow me to port some fancy VC2 features for you guys, like the proper Exhaust system.
Its official date of release will be this Monday. Over the weekend I will patch up the few remaining bugs.
